How good are DVDBoxOffice? Do they mark down for Customs?

Out of VG+, Movietyme and themselves, they appear to be the cheapest for Smash Bros Brawl.

However, unlike MT and VG+ I have no idea if they do the old mark down for it to slip Customs. When I asked about a Wii ages ago they said that they wouldn't mark it down 'but would do everything that they could to avoid Customs' - could that just have been in case it was a potential sting from their viewpoint?

Anyone used them before?

I used them few years back, they were slow and not too helpful. Did mark the value down though.

Personally would rather pay the extra couple of quid (guess that's what it is) and go with VG+ (MT can be slow too if they don't have the game already in stock in the UK)

Oh, MT are horrendously slow in my experience - but cheap.

I'm happy to wait longer for a game though. So DVDBox are goodf or marking down then? Thanks.

I buy a lot of Wii games from DVD Bo and they're sent in plain jiffy bags. I've never had a game stopped at customs from them or anywhere else for that matter. They won't mark down consoles or accessories though, and I ended up paying £20 tax when I bought my US Wii from them.

I wouldn't bother. I used to buy everything from them a few years ago. I spent thousands with them. That was until a huge box of stuff I'd ordered went missing. They told me that I had to wait 8 weeks before they could refund me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt though, that was until I ordered another box load of stuff from them that also went missing. Never used them since. Even when the stuff turned up it used to take over a fortnight to do so. I've had a few friends that had orders go missing too. They used to be OK but suddenly seemed to turn rubbish almost overnight.

They may be OK again but I certainly won't trust them again.
