Just wondering is FreeLoader 1.06B the newest one or is it an old one. I know there is an updated one but im not sure what one it is.

1.06B is the most recent one.

1.04 is the original one that had all kinds of problems (but could play RE0 PAL on NTSC machines). Then 1.06b was released that fixed the problems, but then couldnt play WW PAL on NTSC machines (and RE0 PAL) etc.

Then Datel released 1.06B.

There are three versions afaik. In order:

1. Freeloader 1.04
2. Freeloader 1.06b
3. Freeloader 1.06B (nice sneaky change )

Well as long as FreeLoader 1.06B can play any Import on a PAL machines I will be happy

I herd there was some saving probs with Driller World any one know anything about that?

Yeah, you wont be able to save Mr Driller: Drill Land on a PAL machine.

As far as I know F-Zero is the only game which has a problem being played on a PAL machine (and this is only because it loads up the wrong characters or something). RE0 and WW (and others) had problems with the 1.06b but I believe these were fixed with 1.06B (but it is enevitable more games will come along which are incompatible).

However Mr Driller (which I think is the only example) can only save to a JPN machine - it will only save in the JPN format - something which the Freeloader cannot emulate.

There is no way aruond this. Either put up without saving, or get a modded/JPN machine.

That sucks I really wanted MrDriller, I dont really wanna buy a new GC unless I get a Q.
I guess I will go with out I still have my Dreamcast Driller.
