MSN = No

Having to use Ebuddy at the moment as my msn won't connect to the internet.


I get an error saying it's made several attempts to sign me in and that it may be my firewall, internet settings.. etc.

Thing is I haven't changed anything, and I tried all the suggestions in the help section, troubleshooter shows no problems and even the TCP connection test works fine saying I can connect to windows live messenger server.

what gives?


I actually tried re installation but the windows live installer wouldn't even install msn, thinks I'm not connected to the internet, so I copied MSN across from my mums pc.

Working fine here Ouenben..sometimes the fault is on MSN side mate just keep trying im sure you will get in in the end..

Try a traceroute to the Microsoft login server and see what happens?

Is you windows time set correctly. It's a bit of a wierd one, but msn will not connect unless your windows clock is set to the correct year/month/day.

There is a big MSN virus doing the rounds at the moment, not quite sure what it does but some offices are having to uninstall the programme from their PC's temporarily.
