How do you erase your data from DS games?

I want to delete my data from my DS games, but I can't find/work out how to do it. I've tried holding L+Select and L,R,X,A,B,Y while the game's loading to no avail, or am I doing something wrong?

The games I'm trying to 'clean' are:

• 42 All-Time Classics
• Mario Kart DS
• New Super Mario Bros.
• Tetris DS

Please can you help me?

It depends on the game. There's no standard way to do it. Some games don't have any way to erase the save.

It usually says at the beginning of the manual if there is a way to do it.
