COD 4, regionless?

Hey guys, just a question whether COD4 is regionless?

Im a student in the UK with an NTSC xbox, just wondering if a COD4 PAL version will be playable,

oh thanks for the list!

I went and asked a guy in a HMV store and he said that some copies are regionless but not all of them, is he right? then he said I can buy the game and if it doesnt work I can only exchange it, no returns, I politely said no thank you.:
any ideas?

He probably meant some "games".

However, if you buy a UK CoD4, it will work find on your US box.
