The update is ace.

I'm loving the new wasteland map - though the first thing I thought when I played through was 'christ, how the hell are we going to get that mountain cap'.

Yet I'm not seeing double performance as of yet since I upgraded from xp3000 to my duel core.

If you're still have problems WazMeister try this. Press ctrl alt delete at the same time, this will take you to task manager. Then go to performance and look under processes. What does it say?

So is their much performance incrase, I noticed patch notes say there is.


It ussally says in IDLE windows 0% or jumps to 2% and back to 0% fast.

If I load CSS and do a VST then quickly quit and view it CPU load is on 50%.

I mean what number does it say next to processes?

WazMeister, your performance woes sound suspiciously like ACPI IRQ sharing has your network card, or USB peripherals (for example) sharing the same IRQ with your graphics card. Go into Control Panel -> Device Manager -> View Menu -> Resources By Type.

Post us a screen shot of that.
