Wii Problem

Well, a few days ago i tried to mod my wii, didnt go sooo well, so i took the chip off and cleared off the solder, reconnected everything and luckily it worked.

until now.... I turned it on today everything works fine, but the video keeps cutting out, is this a known problem, or could have knackered it during the process of attempting modding?

any help would be great, as im considering contacting my insurance company saying my little one knackered it!

I wouldnt do that as it could constitute as a fraudulent claim.

Take it on the chin and get a new one

Well.... 2 good things discovered, i told the semi truth and found out my home contents insurance covers everything, bar games consoles! hehe, and i checked the cable, and swapped it back to the standard scart cable, and it works, it seems to be the component cable that doesnt work, it was a cheap 3rd party one, so could be that! ah well! let the modding continue!
