    Does the 40gb PS3 play dvd-a ?

    Wondering whether to order a couple of dvd-audio discs in, I know sacd was dropped from the 40gb - can't find owt about dvd-a though???

    No PS3 models play them as they are a competing format to Sony's SACD.
