I'm having the same problem, it won't load youtube or a few other sites. Ever since yesterday when i got disconnected at about 9:15 and got an MTU error on live, I've got AOL but i don't use the client, i'm using firefox on a Macbook.

So, i'm guessing this is a wider problem with AOL's servers?

It won't let me download podcasts either. Live is fine now though. Well, ish, my friend can't see my games on GoW but i can join his.

You could try using some different DNS servers

Thanks for choosing OpenDNS! To get started, you’ll need to set up one or more of your devices to use OpenDNS’s DNS nameservers. For instructions on how to do this, choose your device type from one of the categories below.

I'm on AOl, but I don't use their software and have had no accessing Youtube.

yep this problem is effecting lots of sites including youtube and imageshack and all AOL/CW people are suffering from this.

Irritatingly it's effecting my website and as I use the domain name in my emails, I'm unable to read them.

Has AOL responded to this? I would ring them myself but AOL customer service is a joke!! I am normally a calm person but those idiots push me over the edge and will be the reason I am getting out of the contract ASAP.

The service is usually great for me tbh, it's just when you have to deal with them on the phone- it's okay if you get someone from Ireland but it's usually India or something.

I was on the phone for 45 minutes to them the other night on hold, eventually i was just like "f**k it".

But yeah, Youtube still won't load.

And i've got no way of getting 1up yours

Use these values as your DNS

                    208.67.222.222

                    208.67.220.220

                    See if that helps out.

I heard on the news yesterday that youtube was down for everyone due to Pakistan banning the site.

Think this was why you couldn't access it.
