Been playing since early this year (owned it since European launch but only just got into it recently). Just wondering, is this a common glitch I'm experiencing - the catchphrases of the villages often get really jumbled up. As in, a duck villager says some pig's catchphrase, and another random village says the duck's. It's making me wonder if there's anything wrong with the cartridge... But then, my girlfriend's copy of the game, bought a month ago, has the same problem it seems. Could it be because we link up our DSes? It's just... unusual.

Because you can use the save editor to change everything about villagers including the catchphrases they say which means if someones been tinkering with them they can then move into your village if your online & then you get weird neighbours hehe

I go to classes for the morning, while he's playing on the GC having come home from work that evening... I come home, swap the memory cards round to play in my own town, sit down to enjoy some AC, go to see emerald the frog and get greeted with "Hello Kim Smells!"
Good job I have a sense of humour lolI went and changed his villagers to say something equally mature. Ahhh good times
