Hacking original Xbox?

    Hacking original Xbox?

    Im about to buy one, so i was wondering what do i need inorder to play emulators and what not on it. I keep hearing an original copy splinter cell can be used to do this. Thats all i know, so any help at all on what i need to do.

        You need an official memory card and a copy of splinter cell. Or a modchip. If you send the mem card to me, I'll put the loader on it for you. Or if you want to put the files on there yourself, you'll need the Action Replay (comes with a usb>>>memcard lead).

          Would you? That would be great and will save me alot of money, as the action replay goes for like ?20 on ebay. Just need to buy a memory card off ebay now.

          As for the loader, how does it work. You just put the memory card in the xbox and it magically loads up?

            You copy the savegame from the mem card to the Xbox HDD. Then you boot up splinter cell and load the save game and kapowkazooom, you arrive at the loader menu where you perform some restorepoint stuff and choose how you want it installed etc. Then takes a few minutes to install.

              Awesome. Just noticed they selling the 8mb ones for about £4 new on ebay, but they say 8mb in naff futuristic lettering on the front of the card itself. I don't remember them having it before, just wondering if its an obvious fake? As i had a memory card fake before without realising it and it screwed up.

              Also does splinter cell need to be the original version and not the greatest hits one?

                I have it all hear if you want it sent out (£9- delivered) to save you all the hassle of looking. The official m-card with softmod on it and splinter cell disk

                Them M-card's you were looking at are most likely the fake one's yes.
