    Disable SATA IDE?

In my bios I saw a option stating

SATA IDE or somewhere along them lines, seeing as I am not using sata but standard UDMA ATA Hard drivers I disabled it, as it was enabled.

After reboot, my MS WIN XP found my IDE drives again and stuff and installed them...

    Why is this? bit random.

Should I had kept SATA IDE enabled?

its merely an IDE emulation mode for new SATA drives, if it works with it off, don't worry about it.

however, if you need to reinstall XP , it might not find them unless they ARE in SATA emulation mode.

Should I reinstall via 4in1 drivers now as i disable dit and XP installed older ones?

If you're not using the SATA ports, then it's pointless anyway.
