psone screens

I'm thinking about purchasing a japanese psone with the official psone screen, but i just want to ask is it possible to connect the screen to a pal console no problem, or will it not work due to being NTSC?

i know for sure that a NTSC screen wont work properly on a UK model

so i 'guess' it should be the same the other way around

I thought it worked OK just didn't fill the screen (NTSC=525 - PAL=576) for NTSC on PAL but PAL on NTSC didn't work.

My old US screen worked fine with my modded UK PSOne. Didn't work for UK games of course but US/JP games no prob.
