PS3 HDD slide casing - is it needed...
I decided to upgrade me 20gb ps3 HDD to a 120gb - and im having some problems just taking the 4 screws out of the hdd sleeve/casing..it seems the more i'm trying- the more i'm just rounding out the screw heads...as i'll probably never need to remove it once it's in there - would it be fine to just slide it in and connect it without the sleeve/casing.. i've just come back from my local pc shop, and they claim that the sleeve/casing is a propriotory PS3 component. and that ill have to try and source one out from somewhere, as they are different from the usual laptop's..
