Hey guys,
I have a North American Wii here in the UK, and it turns out that I have one of those dodgy lenses that won't read SSBB. Now, NOA's current explanation of it being a dusty lense sounds like BS. Why? Because I had to send my system back all the way to the States last year due to disc drive problems. They replaced my drive for me, so I have a brand new drive that's only a few months old. Whatever though...now I have to get this fixed.
The thing is, last year when I sent out my system and got it back, I got charged customs and I really don't want to have to go through this again. I paid customs charges once when I imported the system, and then again when I got it back after it being fixed. I called up C+E, they sent me out a form...but it turns out that I was supposed to fill it in BEFORE I sent out my system and get the person who sends it back to me to go through a lot. Not to mention the form requires so much info (it seems) that I wasn't bothered to fill it in.
What I want to know is...is there somewhere in the UK I can send my system to, to get it fixed without invalidating my warranty?
Thanks
