My PS3 broken?

I'm using an RGB scart lead. Tried two. The picture turns "yellow" at times. It happened yesterday with my "black" colored lead, and I changed it to my old one, which I use for the PS2, and used it without any problems. Now I it turned yellow again. I put a game on and the colors turned "proper". Weird. This doesn't look good. It's an American 80gb and I can't really return it from here.

Are you using a CRT tv?

Are you using it into a splitter, or direct to the tv?

CAN YOU TRY ANOTHER RGB UNIT IN THE SAME SOCKET?

Splitter. I pushed it into the TV and I guess it helped...? That's to be found out soon.
