Xbox Harddrive upgrade question

I have taken my xbox to be modded so i can play my US copy of KOTOR, the guy told me he would upgrade my harddrive if i provide it for a fee.
I know the maximum is around 130gig so i plan on getting a 120gig hd from somewhere, but does it have to be a certain type ?? or can i just buy any HD and get it installed without any problems and where would be the best/cheapest place to purchase a HD ?? any suggestions
Would a Maxtor 120gb 3.5inch IDE HD be ok ???

I fitted mine with a "Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 120Gb 7200rpm 8mb Cache ATA133 Hard Drive" (from eBuyer.co.uk) and it seems to work perfectly. I've heard people mention that the 7800rpm drives can get hot, but I've had my xbox on for hours at a time with no problems at all.

The xbox IDE controller can only accept a certain amount of data. So its not worth getting a top of the range HDD for it.

If you look around dabs.com you should find a 5400Rpm HDD for a decent price.

I have the 120 GB Samsung drive from dabs, its very quiet, doesn't get hot and can be locked for xbox live. I'm not sure if the maxtor can?
