Good high street deals for PC's under ?400???...

My girlfriend wants to buy a PC over the coming week. As I only use the PC to browse the net, and use consoles for gaming, I'm a bit of a lost cause with computers, but she wants something basic but solid that will browse the net with ease (and graphics-wise, run something like Half Life 2 decently.)

Anyone know of any decent high street offers going at the moment?

(I know you can get stuff cheaper online, or by shopping around, but she doesn't want the faff.)

You'll probably open up a can of worms here as I don't think there are many high street places that sell genuinely good PCs. In my experiences though Evesham computers sell pretty solid machines, maybe worth seeing if you have a shop near you
