Wii - wireless connection question

I'm just wondering if anybody could help me out on this.

I have my UK Wii in my bedroom, which is a loft conversion, and a Windows PC for the family with Broadband Internet that's on the floor below me.

I want to get my Wii connected online using the broadband access already available to me - would it be able to pick up a wireless signal below me, and if so what items would I need to make this happen (routers, ext. cables, etc.)?

Apologies for the n00b-ish question, any help would be much appreciated!

You should have no problem picking up the wireless signal.My wireless router is upstairs and i can pick up the signal on my laptop,wii and ps3 all downstairs even though my house has concrete floors.

Assuming you have a wireless connection already then just let the wii do a search for the connection.
