360 About to Die?

Just been playing through Bioshock and my 360 is having a few problems. First time I put the disc in and loaded my save I had graphical glitches and the screen was tearing all over the place, this carried on when I went back to the dashboard.

Left it for five minutes before trying again, this time the game is playing but it is stuttering every couple of seconds rendering it almost unplayable.

This is the second copy of the game Ive had and it was never like this with the previous disc. There are no scratches on it either.

Try holding down both LB and RB as the game loads (let go after the 2k logo appears). This should clear the cache.

However, seeing errors in the dashboard aswell suggests that the console is on the way out.
