    Would Quad SLI 7950 GX2 ?

I currently have Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo.

    Has 2 PCIE ports.

Atm I have 1 used by a 7950 SLI GX2 which is 2 graphics cards formed as 1. ala SLI.

I read that Quad is managable.. but from old posts back in 2006 saying it is... but once Nividia release drivers for it.

I presume nearly a year and a half later, this would work?

If I bought another 7950 GX2 and put it in the other PCIE port, would this work together known as QUAD?

Would it make much diffrence to speed in games?
Would I have to buy an exact match 7950 as my current one, or would it not matter?
if I fitted another, is it a simple job as putting it in the other PCI-E and thats it, or some how would I have to connect the 2 via something?

    Thanks

    Waz!

Totally not worth it. I doubt there?s any driver support for quad so you?ll be getting no performance gains.

Your best bet is to save up and get a 8800 GT or a GTS G92.

They gave up doing driver for quad when they realised that they could do triple sli first.

Even when it was released it wasn't worthwhile as the performance improvement was virtually non-existant.
