Lightguns & Rear Projection T.V's

Hi me lovelies

Itching to get me grubby hands on House Of The Dead III and a lightgun, but am a bit worried about whether the lightgun will work on a rear projection t.v.

Does anyone know if it will work or not??

A reply before the end of Sat 22nd March would be, quite literally, 'great'

depends what type of rear projection tv it is.

if it is a crt @ 50/60Hz you will be fine.

if it is a 100Hz set you will have problems the same as you would with a normal tube set.

If it is lcd set like some of the sony sets it is no go.

and if it is a DLP set then dont worry about playing gun games and just enjoy you lucky barsted

nothing flash mate..........just a toshiba 42" 50hz

tosh works a treat with light guns

you may want to get into the service menu to get the set converged properly to get it really accurate round the edge of the screen, and to get your tv looking 10x better than it does straight out the box.

If you have already done this dont think I am trying to teach you to suck eggs, if you havent it is worth lookinhg on google how to do it, makes a huge difference to the picture quality.
