OK, going to make myself look stupid here! A few weeks ago I had this problem...
I've just gone to download the new 1upshow this morning on my ps3 & instead of saving to the hard disk, a new window is launched & I get the words 'buffering' & the show starts streaming live. Which is useless for me as I've got a slow connection. The ps3 is letting me download podcasts to the hard disk but not the tv shows anymore. It was ok last week but since doing the update it's stopped working. Have you had any trouble like this?
I tried downloading a show I'd already seen & it does the same thing for that - just streaming live. I'm stumped.
Number45 very kindly helped me by saying...They added an option to save files from a menu in the last update so that you can now save/stream. You do it by hitting triangle with the link highlighted then going to File > Save Target.
That worked for two weeks. I've now tried to download some old 1upshows using the above method & now I get the message to insert a storage destination & it won't allow me to save to the hard drive. I've got 30GB free space, so what am I doing wrong?
