PS3 40GB Self-cleaning mode

Found this neat feature on another site:

Turn off ur ps3
Turn off the power in the back via the power button
Hold the eject button keep holding it
While holding the eject button, turn on the power switch in the back of ur ps3

Probably shouldn't use it more than once or twice a year if kept in an average room though.

just tried it on my 60GB PAL when bored, and it spat the disc out (omg surprise)

(I know it doesn't work on 60's lol)

I think a self cleaning device for the outside of the PS3 rather than the inside would be a better idea lol.

Take a cloth to all that dust, and all that you end up doing is scratching the damn thing
