You really should use a region mod instead of a Freeloader - it's totally future proof and works perfectly with all software, not expensive either.

VJ and PN03 both work with Freeloader version 1.06b which I believe you have.

The latest version of freeloader is 1.06B, the previous version was 1.06b and the (dodgy) version before that was 1.04.

However, as Saurian says - get a modded Cube, it is worth it in the long run as more and more games are bound to be incompatible.
