    Wii wireless sensor bar recommendations

IGN tested the one from Nyko and said it was working fine, even enhancing the range of the original. but i would have to import it, taking too much time and money.

any other brands or products which can be recommended?

    thanks in advance!

I doubt there is much in it to be honest, they are just a piece of plastic with 2 IR lights at each end.

no, Play and Game don't have it. Amazon UK has it listed but it's import ware.

there's lots of 3rd party wireless bar and as far as i am informed there's huge quality differences among them regarding range, battery usage and general usabilty. that's why i was hoping to get some recommendations here.

BUMP my boyfriend just killed my wii sensor bar with the hoover. Anyone got any recommendations ? particularly on wired sensor bars. Hate batteries !!!

It seems most people have good things to say about the nyko but i really would prefer a wired one. Preferably with a little better range than the official one, as when I sit back on my sofa i seem to be just out of range.

          Thanks Much

I bought a NYKO one as my Wii's aprox 14ft away from my telly. It's supposedly got a better range that the Nintendo one and just works fine from 13ft ish away. It also has an ever so handy auto off function whereby it bleeps after it's been on for either one hr or 3 (you set which one you want via a switch, oh and you can just have it plain on as opposed to timed if you like) and then powers down if you don't give the on button a quick press. Perfect .

The Nyko one is spot on. Superb working range (I'm at 14ft with no problems) and it also has a timed auto off feature so that you that if you forget to switch it off it self powers down after either 1 or 3 hrs (it does give a beeping warning 1st and the timer can be switched off if you like). Nice product .
