PS3 conflict with Wireless router

Wondered if any tech heads here could help.

I've got a 2Wire Gateway BT2700HGV ADSL modem/router which generally runs quite well without any glitches. But it resets itself repeatedly whenever I download files over the PS3 wireless link. Online games work fine and if run a long ethernet cable to the PS3 there are no issues. But game demo downloads or update downloads over the wireless appear to cause the router to reboot.

Anyone else experienced this issue with the same modem or have any idea what's causing this?

Have you tried setting the PS3 as the DMZ machine?

(I do have some conjectures, but there's no point in posting them - it's easier for you just to try that).

That's a good point actually, I'll give it a go and see what happens.
