Bought two DS games at £19.99 in a buy one, get one free offer. One of the games I already, err, own. Oops. I've kept the unwanted game sealed, and it's got the receipt and is within 28 days of purchase. Would they give me a refund?

You wouldn't get £19.99 back for it though because it was a Buy One Get One Free offer. You might get half the value back (£10) but that's unlikely - they may insist on returning both games if you want a refund, or only swapping the unwanted game for another in that dealComment

Usually what happens when you can't provide both games in the offer, both with the seal intact, then you'll get offered for the single game the current preowned store purchase value, which would obviously vary depending on whether you wanted cash or trade in.
Obviously that's only if you didn't just swap the one game for another in the offer as Rlench said.Comment

Ah. What I'll do is see if they will give me another DS game that is available in that BOGOF offer. I avoid pre-owned in highstreet games retailers.
The other game I bought was for a friend in the US and airmailed, so I can't return both. Well, not viably.
