    Can dvd romdrives read dvd+r?

    Hi guys ive just accidentaly bought a dvd writer that only writes to dvd+r will my dvd drive have any problems reading a dvd+r?

    my dvd is a pioneer slot loading x16 speed dvd rom drive

    my recorder is NEC DVD recorder IDE ND-1100A, Bulk DVD+R/+RW 4X/2,4X/16X/10X/40X/12X

    Most DVD-ROM drives will I think. I know Pioneer drives are well known for their compatability, and I too have a Pioneer slot-loading 16x drive (DV-105S) and it works fine for me.
