    360 Custom Gamerpics

I really want a picture of Chris Kamara as my gamerpic. Is this possible? If so, how? If not, why not?

Something like that would be unbelievable.

    Ta.

I haven't done it myself but I understand if you have a Xbox live camera then you can take a snap of a photo held close up to the camera and use that as your gamerpic. I suppose it would take a bit of practice to get it looking decent thou.

This would only show to people in your friends list btw. Its gonna be the best you can do thou isn't it? You'll never get this guys mug officially! lol

That's fine if it only shows to my friends. I might have to get myself a camera then, as I don't think MS will be releasing a Chris Kamara pack!

      Thanks.

It works quite well, I have a PS3 as my 360 gamerpicture and others have Mario etc.

As long as you take the picture well it can look pretty much as good as a standard gamerpicture.

Just avoid trying it with pets. My gamerpic (that shows to my friends anyway) is of my cat, and although it doesn't look brilliant, it did take ages to get her to sit still for it.

As long as the picture's reasonably good quality it'll come out great. I've used loads of game boxart as pictures including Travis Touchdown and Viewtiful Joe.

I tried taking a picture of my brother's boxer for him and in the end he had to hold her in a head lock to get her to sit still, so her face is even more squashed up and uglier than usual The hard part is that the preview window shown on the screen is in mirror image so moving the camera right makes the view pan left etc and it's reet confusing!

I've got my cat, too. He died a few weeks ago and now I can't change it because I won't be able to get the photo back
