Hi everyone,
Unfortunately I have havent gone hi-def just yet so still use my old CRT for gaming with its best connection being RGB Scart. So when I bought my PAL Wii I bought the official RGB scart cable aswell. Now whilst I am very pleased with the picture, it bugs me that the the Wii always sends a signal - even when in standby, or turned off.
I guess there is no way to fix this without disabling the auto switching ability of the scart cable entirely
Today however I noticed when shopping that the Official Wii Scart cable appears to have changed
Here a pic of the first version, the one I have:-

and heres the new version:-

(Pictures taken from eBay)
I was wondering if anybody has this new cable and if so is there any difference apart from the scart connector colour? Does the new cable stop the 'signal always present' problem?
TIA
