Best value Xbox 360 VGA lead

I've been looking to pick up a suitable VGA lead in preparation for my 360's arrival. The official one has rave reviews but is a little pricey so are there any cheaper alternatives that aren't awful? I've heard that a lot of the third-party products aren't shielded so they have dropouts and other problems regarding washed out colours. Could anyone confirm this?

When I decided to go VGA I read about various cables and the official one kept being recommended the most with cheap third party ones seemingly all suffering problems, so I got an official one pre-owned from this forum and have never looked back.

I believe most (if not all at that price) of those are fake.

The packaging will often look identical, but the lead itself will be missing the tiny Microsoft holographic sticker you get on official products.

You can get the official VGA lead from Gameplay for ?14.99 which I think is pretty reasonable.

Indeed, it's worth paying for quality. I got my official one pre-owned in Lame Station for about £12 I think.

it is an official one as the cable is like 1cm in diameter and has those stickers, plus i think i was just lucky to get it for 5 pound
