PSP video and region problems?

I have an European (Italian, to be precise) PSP Slim & Lite.
I have played games from all regions on it with no problems, but now I've got Yggdra Union and I have a questions about videos.
I created an European/Italian account for the console on the PSN store to download the European demo of Patapon, then to download the US demo of R-Type Command I created a second account, but had to synch the console to the US account to download directly the demo on it.
Right now the console is synched to the US shop, I can play all games (EU Loco Roco, JPN Echochrome demo, US Patapon, as examples) fine and Yggdra Union runs fine too, however I know the game has an intro movie, which is not displayed. To be fair I don't know when it's supposed to play, but every time I load the game I get this message before getting the main screen:



Of course I don't know what it means. I got a message the first time I loaded the game, but I dismissed it for no Yggdra Union savegames on the MMS.

So:
*) what does the message mean?
*) is video playback linked to the PSN Store account's region?
*) can I change the region to which the console is synched endless times or it's a limited value like PC DVD players? I'm not reverting to region 2 (assuming that PSN Store has the same region lockout for DVDs) to avoid being struck to a region or an other.

Cheers, even this helps. At least I know know what "checking MMS" reads like in Japanese

BTW, create a JPN account and linked the console to the account by downloading a demo, nothing has changed.

[edit] intro movie problem solved, just wait for the main menu song to finish and the animated intro will kick in - I guess I really have to be more patient.
