Which official DVD remote for slim PS2?

I'm assuming an IR port is built into the hardware, so do I need the older style or the newer one? As far as I know the newer one added an Eject button, which won't work with the slim anyway, so I should be alright with the original one and just dump the dongle right?

I have the remote which came with my JPN ocean blue PS2 and that works fine on my slim PS2.

If you have the slim, all of the official remote models will work.
