Crackdown 360 - disabling live content?

Finished this game a couple of times over now and enjoy re-playing the campaign mission with crime turned on, alas I downloaded the downloadable content and now all I can do is 'ressurect gangs' which means restarting the game over. I wondered if there is anyway I can disbale this content, or go back to campaign mode with 'crime on' again?

Deleting the relevant DLC from the 360's memory unit should do the trick. I had reason to do so last year (I can't remember why) and it disabled all the new features. If it was part of a title update (a mandatory live patch started at bootup) then you'll need to clear the 360 cache. Check google for that - it involves hitting X,X,RB,LB,X,X from the system menu....

Can't you turn crime on/off and then ressurect gangs?

I'm sure there are 3 options

Sadly not no - just ressurect gangs or no crime. I also thought there'd be three options - how very odd?

            In that case, go here:

            360 System Blade>Memory>Choose Memory Unit>Games>Crackdown

You should find a list of saved games and a number of "Packs". I think it's the "Free-For-All Pack" you want to delete. If it happens and it doesn't help, you can always download it again, it won't corrupt your game or anything (IIRC).

The full shebang for clearing the cache is:

              1. Go to the 'system' blade
              2. Select 'memory'
              3. Press Y on the HD symbol
              4. Press X,X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X.
              5. A message will appear saying: "Do you want to perform maintenance on your xbox360 storage devices?"
              6. Select Yes.

This will however clear all the game updates you've dl'd, but it also gets rid of cack that games like Oblivion leave on your HD.
