Hi, going to be selling a Hori digital snes style gamecube pad soon and was wondering if i could advertise it as Wii compatible? Would be aces for VC games i would imagine?
This is the pad i want to sell-

    thanks in advance.

It'd work on VC games, not sure about Wii games that have GC compatibility. It depends if the d-pad is mapped to the GC d-pad or the stick.

BTW, Nintendo has made a classic SNES controller for use with Wii VC, plug into the Wiimote port that usually connecting to the Nunchuck.

The Hori pad will work fine for VC stuff, you just have to be careful due to the altered button layout. Games which require you to push B and Y at the same time can be much tricker to play properly.

              One of these I think:-

currently only available from Club Nintendo in Japan, but some are always available to buy on ebay for high-ish prices.

Nintendo really ought to release them at retail (Or at least available to buy online) along with an N64 controller version (and a NES one I suppose, but to me the SNES controller is basically an improved NES controller, so making the NES one redundent - unless your really hardcore and like the feeling of a rectangular piece of plastic digging in your palms!)

This is selling GBP30.00 over my place here. I think only hard fans would buy it.

They sure do a great job in recycling

Could make it yourself if you know the plug's connectors?
