MAMEoX Problem - Out of memory

I've got a problem with MAMEoX. I'm running it off CDRW and for whatever reason its not loading up Guwange. Guwange is by far the biggest ROM on the CDRW so i'm guessing i might have other probs with similar sized and bigger ROMs?

Ok, this is the problem. Once i start to load the ROM i get to stage 8/10 of the loading process and then get the following message:

Fatal Error:

Malloc failed! (Out of memory)

Requested 4194304 bytes, 4190208 free

Any tips to get this working? Would it solve the problem if i was running the EMU off the HD?

Btw i'm using MAMEoX 0.72.1b

Haven't played with the latest version of MAMEoX, but Guwange doesn't run from MAME-X. I've always used Final Burn to play the Cave shooters.
