Replacement Wii Gamecube port cover

Hey guys,

Anyone know where the best (cheapest?) place to contact to get replacement wii parts would be? The larger of the two flaps on top of my wii console, the one covering the cube controller ports, has snapped off and cannot be re-attached.

So I am looking to get a replacement one.

I'll only go to nintendo as a last resort in case they decide to charge unreasonable amounts, so if anyone knows any other sources of spare parts I could look at first that'd be ideal.

How bad is the damage? These ports are made to be detached and attached with minimum effort, if only one of the arms has been broken off, it's easy to reattach it with some glue.

No both hinges have snapped off the cover and are still stuck in the console. Spooning them out shouldnt prove too difficult but a replacement cover will be necessary unfortunately.

If you can get the pieces of both arms from the console it should be pretty easy to glue them back on. Use something like Loctite glue and im sure they will be fine.

Or, I know you said its a last resort, but Nintendo USA sells them through their online parts store for only $1.00 (50p)

And I would imagine Nintendo UK will probably be able to order you one too (probably alittle more expensive) - maybe drop them an email?

The Nintendo US store only sells to US and Canadian citizens though... having said that, I've got my girlfriend's parents place registered for such means. If you haven't got one by the start of next month, let me know and I'll order one for you. I'll off to the US towards the end of July and can bring it back.
