    satelite dish question

If I got Sky HD and Free Sat (When I buy new TV) and give my parent my Sky+ could the minidish have 6 feeds instead of 4. Or I need 2nd dish.

I don't know much about freesat but the lnb's that Sky slot into the arm of their dishes normally only have 4 feeds.

I'm not sure that Sky would supply one with more feeds free of charge when they're installing your Sky HD but no harm in asking the installer... If they won't fit one then it's not a difficult job to replace the existing one yourself (assuming you have a ladder and all the cabling is already in place).

Octo-lnb's (8 feeds) can be picked up for approx. £20 from ebay or £40 ish from more 'reputable' satellite websites. It's worth spending another few quid for either some self-amalgamating tape or rubber boots to make sure the connectors joining the cables to the lnb feeds are water tight.

This guide might help (you can also buy all the bits from that site):

You can use a Sky dish and I don't know if they need to be moved at all.

The dish shouldn't need moving at all. Really just a case of taking out the old lnb and popping in a new one
