Sony "High-Speed" HDMI cables?

Sony now do a range of these "High-Speed" cables in Japan. Infact they are official PS3 products (at least they use the same model number as the official PS3 ones with some extra letters). They are flat and rather snazzy looking. I guess you can compare them to the new version component cables with the silver plugs as opposed to the older ones with the plastic plugs.

Is there a difference in them over "standard" cables?

They are probably just true 1.3 spec at 10gbit or whatever the bandwidth speed is.

it might be capable of 1440p and 1600p too. although obviously the triple doesn't support such resolutions, but other TV's and display devices might (not home stuff, more industrial or whatever)
