Stereo RGB cable - MD / Neo Geo

The headphone plug thing on my RGB cable has fallen apart, what I'd like to know is, can I just find another headphone plug and attach it by stripping the wires and twisting them together?

I have no soldering skills so otherwise I have to try and find a whole new cable.

Yeah, you can buy mini jacks from Maplins etc. Get the one with the 2 black rings, as this means it's stereo. One ring means mono.

Soldering it is no bother, just 2 wires. just becareful which wire goes to where, as you could end up with the Left channel coming out of the Right speaker.
