    Second hand value of dell laptops (Apple finance any good)

    Bought one around a month to two months ago now and its not needed anymore, cost around 810 at the time should I expect to only get half of that now?

    Also does anyone know if apple finance is any good, as I may need something fairly powerful on the mac side soon and would not like to spend that much cash all at once : /

        Thanks spacemonkey, seems like pretty much your bog standard terms then.

        The model is m1530, think its the newest revision with a couple of things upgraded such as the cpu, hdd, sound card and mem to 3gb.

              no worries good luck mate - be sure to state that you wont ship to rogue states else you may end with a few false bids from scammers.. well you know the usual eBay cavets

                Apple's finance deals used to be much better when they were operating with MBNA. They're now with the Halifax or HFC I believe and their minimum terms are 3 years. When I was shopping around for my MacBook Pro, I enquired about whether you could pay off the balance early and they said there was some sort of penalty for doing so.

                My advice is just sign up for a credit card with several months interest free credit and then pay it off at your own pace. I bought mine from John Lewis with their own credit card which came with 6 months interest free and they even threw in an extra year on the warranty for free. And they gave me a ?10 voucher to spend in store too! Highly recommended.

                  Oh thanks for the advice taka That sounds like a much better option, especially as I have managed to sell the laptop now without resorting to the bay ^^;
