USB 2.0 Question (help) & Ipod

        I never said that it was a lot faster than usb 2.0, I just said that it was faster, noticably faster from what I've seen

        Plus getting a firewire card gives you the option of getting your DV video onto your PC, if you never needed to that is.

        You can also network two or more PCs via firewire, via IP, and I've not seen anything to suggest this is possible via any flavour of USB (don't count laplink as its not networking). This is again noticably faster than a cross over cabled 100 MB ethernet network.

        Finally you can recharge your iPod via the firewire, which I don't think you can via USB?
