    (Possibly Stupid) PSP Questions

    Hello,

The lovely Mrs BB has very kindly offered to buy me a PSP for my birthday. I've never really been in to handheld gaming and so am I bit out of touch when it comes to these things. I've taken a look at a whole host of PSP related threads but cannot seem to find answers to the following:

    1. Does the PSP lite come with a memory stick?

    2. If not, what size should I get (I want to order one so that it turns up in time)? I would want to use it to watch movies etc.

    3. Is there an idiot proof guide (or a software package) available to convert DVDs etc to play on a PSP? I would want to watch both things I have bought and recorded on my DVD recorder.

Any help with the above would be warmly welcomed. Would also be grateful for any game recommendations.

    Cheers,

    BB

    1. It doesn't come with one

    2. A movie can be between 300-600 meg depending on the quality, so at least a gig memory stick I'd imagine.

    3. I'm sure a quick Google will tell you how to do it, or there are many commercially available packages. I imagine someone else will be able to recommend a specific one

      Thanks EvilBoris

Files are smaller than I thought (was looking at 4Gb or 8Gb cards).

I have searched for answers re DVD conversion using Google but some of the sites/methods I found either seemed hugely complicated or fairly dodgy. Not sure if this is because of potential copyright issues.
