A quick question for those who don't live in the UK

Does anyone here come from Germany, France, Italy, spain, Poland, etc who likes to play his/her Xbox 360 games in English?

I'm considering buying a few games from the UK so that I can play them in English in my German Xbox 360. Mass Effect and Halo 3 come to mind. Anyways, I'm grateful if any of you chaps know definetily wether it's possible to play any European-PAL-Region Code 2-Whatever restriction applies games on any European-PAL-Region Code 2-Whatever restriction applies hardware?

While we're at it; is there anyone here who can confirm the US version of Mass Effect to be region free? I know it states so in the sticky thread above, but I've also googled information that seems to contradict what is stated there. Is there anyone from this forum who can confirm either way from personal experience?

Me. I remembered why I've started buying NTSC games and consoles after I've heard Super Smash Bros. Brawl Italian dubbing last weekend at my friend's house (well, not the only reason but surely one of them).

No restrictions between European countries - what's PAL is PAL and a game bought in the UK will play on a French machine and so on. For example, I've bought Mario Kart 64 back in Denmark back in the day and it runs just fine over my Italian 64, as does a German Cybernator over an Italian SNES. Bought few UK PS2 and GC games from Play.com and some of the forum dwellers here and play fine on Italian consoles.

Play Asia had a table for various region compatibilities, but Videogames Plus' "blog" is the best place to see if a US game is region free; according to them US Mass Effect won't have problems playing on a EU console.

I can confirm the US Mass Effect worked on my UK PAL machine (as I have it!) so you shouldn't have a problem playing it on your machine.
