I have to admit it took me a while to notice that as well. Only until I realised that getting killed constantly in the first village was a little odd, but I did feel a proper numpty when I realised.

I do hate reading manuals as a rule though. I'm not a sandwich fan, so starting a new game on the PS3 usually gives me the time to flick through when I first start the game.
