Fixing DC GD Rom discs

I was wondering if the regular cd repair kits will work on DC discs. My copy of Samba 2000 has a small scratch and I am not sure what to do. I have not had any problems with it but I wanna be sure that I can fix it if it started to go funny.

Yes, they will work, but GD-ROMs are more sensitive to scratches.
