    Dualshock 3 queries

    Hi guys,

Just picked one of these beauties up and am playing through MGS4 with it.

Ive got some queries just to make sure that my controller is working properly.

Is the rumble a lot more *ahem* subtle than previous models? Half the time i cant feel it when i shoot a gun etc.

Also, it only comes on certain corners on GT5:P is that right as well?

Sorry for being so vague, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Pish isn't it.

Doesn't even work on Ridge 7.

Some games have a setting for rumble strength, I think the rumble in MGS4 is done really well. I can't remember what it was like on previous pads to compare though, but I doubt there is a problem with your pad. I guess its weak then!

Yeah I find the rumble quite weak too so it's definately not just you.

Japanese Developers are just lazy in patching games.

I prefer the weight of the DualShock 3 compared to the normal Sixaxis.

I agree completely, the sixaxis allways felt a bit too light for me.

Seconded. The Dualshock actually feels like you are holding something in your hands. The Sixaxis is way too light especially for doing the movement controls. I just prefer the Dualshock, i just thought the rumble would be a bit more positive!!

The sixaxis feels like a toy compared to a DS3. It's like those dummy phones you get in phone shops in comparison.
