    Can't change to correct resolution

When I try to change the resolution for my monitor, there is no way to change it to 1440x900 and so I have to use a resolution which is quite blurry. My uncle installed Vista today and updated the drivers, but it says "No ATI drivers found or they are not functioning properly" and I can't open the software to try and change the settings. I'm using an ATI Radeon x850 Pro...

Is there any way I can change the resolution?

had the same problem with my Nvidia 8600 when I did fresh instal a few months ago, in the end I changed its slot on the motherboard and its played nice ever since.

IF your using an ATI card, have you downloaded the latest drivers off the site? i had the same problem, with the same resolution on an ati card, and once i had installed the latest vista drivers and restarted, it was fine.

maybe try that, if not, ill have another think.

I just checked the boxof the graphics card and it doesn't say it supports 1440 x 900, but when I had XP I always used that resolution :S I'm getting confused

Sounds like the card is not installed correctly to me... try the latest Catalyst package after removing your existing drivers.
