Cheap, small 2.0 speakers

Looking for a set of cheap (but not crap), small 2.0 speakers for my uni dorm. The key is small, because I'm moving to my university on the train, so I'll have to stick these in my bag. Obviously dorms are tiny, so they don't need to be uber powerful, just something so I can actually hear my games when playing them on monitor.

I was considering these, but I figured someone could point me to some others (non-PC speakers I guess) which are better for a similar price?

Seem as good as any. When it comes to cheap speakers, it's pot luck if they're reasonable or not.

Remember that uni walls are very thin when playing though.

It's very possible that I may just run the games through the line-in on my laptop and use laptop speakers, just curious at what my options are.

Headphones not an option? Small, and will sound better than a cheap set of speakers.

Definately an option I'm gonna consider. It's a shame I have no idea how big my dorm is, and how thick the walls will be.

I have seen these for £42, and seem like the best in the price range.
